HUDSEN
waste to wear

HUDSEN is a sustainable headwear brand built on a closed loop model. The concept is simple because the waste is already there and the consumer is already there, so the product is just connecting the two. Plastic waste is collected from Nottingham Trent University, Loughborough University, and University of Nottingham, processed into rPET, and manufactured into premium caps and sold back to the same communities it came from. Within five to ten years, HUDSEN aims to position itself as a university kit supplier, competing in a market dominated by brands like Kukri and Canterbury. The difference is that HUDSEN’s raw materials come from the same campus they are sold on, and that is not something they can claim.
